Frequently Asked Questions
Most small business websites we build fall somewhere between a few hundred and a couple of thousand pounds. A simple one-page site is at the lower end, a multi-page site with booking or a shop is higher. You'll always get a clear fixed quote before any work starts: no surprise invoices.
Most sites take two to four weeks from first chat to going live. The biggest factor is how quickly you can get us your content: text, photos, logo. If you've got everything ready we can often move faster.
Your logo if you have one, some photos, your contact details and opening hours, and a rough idea of what you want the site to say. A phone call and a few photos is genuinely enough to get started.
No. If you already own one we'll use it. If not, we'll help you choose and register one as part of the process. It's a small annual cost, usually £10–£15 a year, and you own it outright.
Yes, always. Every site we build is designed mobile-first because that's how most people will find you, through a Google search on their phone. This isn't an optional extra, it's the starting point.
You'll need hosting and domain renewal: typically £10–£20 a month combined. Beyond that there's no obligation. We offer optional support plans if you'd like us to handle updates, but you're never locked in.
We build every site with solid SEO foundations: proper page titles, fast loading, mobile-friendliness, and Google Business Profile setup. That gives you a real shot at local searches. We won't promise page one overnight. Anyone who does isn't being straight with you.
Yes, and you never have to touch the code. Every site is hand-built rather than made on a drag-and-drop builder, which is what keeps it fast and stops it breaking. Just send us what you'd like changed (new photos, prices, opening hours, wording) and we'll update it for you. Regular updates are covered by our monthly care plan, and one-off changes are quoted upfront.
You deal directly with the person building your site, not an account manager. We're local, pricing is fair, and we don't lock you into long contracts. We'd rather earn your business every year because you're happy.
