Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
1. Introduction
Proodos Web Design is a website design and development studio based in Redhill, Surrey. These terms cover any website design or development work carried out by Proodos Web Design for a client. By engaging our services, whether through a written quote, an email agreement, or a deposit payment, the client agrees to these terms.
2. Services
We provide website design and development services for small businesses. The scope of each project, including pages, features, and deliverables, is agreed in writing before work begins. Any changes to that agreed scope once work is underway may affect the project timeline and cost.
3. Payment Terms
A 50% deposit is required before work begins. The remaining 50% is due on completion, before the finished site goes live. If payment is more than 14 days late, work on the project may be paused until the outstanding balance is settled. All prices are quoted in GBP.
4. Revisions
The number of revision rounds included depends on the package chosen. Revisions cover changes within the originally agreed scope. New features or additional pages beyond that original scope will be quoted separately.
5. Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of final payment, the client owns the completed website and all its content. Proodos Web Design retains the right to display the completed work in its own portfolio, including on this website and on social media, unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
6. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing accurate content, logos, photos, and information in a timely manner. Delays caused by the client in supplying this material may affect the agreed project timeline.
7. Cancellation & Refund Policy
A 50% deposit is required upfront before any work begins on a project. This deposit secures your place in our schedule and covers initial planning and setup.
Once work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable. If the client cancels a project after work has started, the deposit is kept in full to cover the work already carried out and time already committed to the project.
Where the value of work completed at the point of cancellation exceeds the deposit already paid, that additional completed work will be invoiced proportionally, based on the stage reached and the time spent up to the point of cancellation.
8. Liability
Proodos Web Design is not liable for any loss of business, revenue, or data arising from use of the website. We are not responsible for the performance or reliability of third-party services used in connection with a project, such as hosting providers, booking systems, or payment processors.
9. Privacy
Any personal data shared during the course of a project is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
